Welcome to Mrs. Kennerly's second grade! We are so happy to have you a part of a wonderful group of students. This year we are lucky to have an 11:1 student to teacher ratio. This means we get to spend more one on one time with our students. We will be using the South Carolina Standards to create our invigorating curriculum. We expect our students to complete a year a half progress in just one year. That means that our bright 2nd graders will be doing 3rd grade work in no time.

Your child will be bringing home their homework folder each night. Please make sure that you are checking their homework and folder every night. Communication is key to a successful year. You will be receiving our Week at a Glance each Monday via email. Keeping updated on what we do in class will benefit you and your child!

Bethlehem Christian Academy is anchored in Biblical Truth so we will be studying our Bible each and every day. Here at BCA we are also Math, Science and Technology oriented. This means that we are always using the knowledge that we have gained to solve problems in every day life.

We are very excited to be in 2nd grade this year and cannot wait to show you all that we have learned!
