In the first unit, all classes, learned all about greetings, feelings and emotions, numbers, colors, family members, culture, "magic words" and phrases. Your children learn this through different songs, dances, charades and pictures.
In the second unit, all classes learned vocabulary used in describing animals, ABC's, and parts of the body! Your children learn this through different songs, dances, charades and pictures.
In the third unit, students are learning vocabulary used in describing months, days of the week, the date, foods and more! Your children learned various songs to remember the days of the week and months of the year! Students are now using sentences to tell their birthday, age, and more!
In addition, in celebration of our food unit, all students attended a field trip at Don Pablo's where they were immersed into the Hispanic culture!
The second and third grade classes won the "chili pepper" behavior challenge, and were awarded a fiesta in Senorita Hudson's class!

Bethlehem Christian Academy does an excellent job on providing math enrichment to its students. All children learn mathematics using a variety of manipulatives, tools, and hands on resources that help them to not only understand the concepts, but also apply the concepts to the real world. Mathematics is a critical component of a successful education for any child. With this in mind, BCA uses the Houghton Mifflin Math Series, coupled with the Abeka Math series and teachers design and implement mathematic lessons that will challenge their students. Even students in K4 are learning how to add and subtract numbers!
